Tier 1

Objective: Take the book of origami

The book contains instructions for how to make various Origami figures.

loveandorigami_2

Objective: Examine the note

The note is two-sided.

loveandorigami_3

Objective: Go to the location mentioned in the note

As you may have suspected, this will be a translation based puzzle. If your Japanese is a bit rusty, your best option is to ask a friend who knows Japanese or use Google Translate to translate word by word. Word by word might output a higher translation accuracy.

Anyway, as always if you’re stuck, we have some hints and a solution below.

You have a book of origami in your inventory. Perhaps it prove useful?
You should try to fold the note and see if that helps. Of course, you cannot do that ingame, so you’ll have to write what’s on the note on a piece of paper or print out an image of the note.
You have to fold the paper in the shape of a heart, as shown in the Origami book that you have acquired, although this cannot be done ingame, only in real-life using a piece of paper. If done correctly, you will get this as the result. A sentence is formed by all the words lined up after the wrapping.

The sentence translates to the following:
I will wait for you on a bench by the northern shore.
It should be clear where you have to look for the next note. Eventually, you should find the note on a bench. Refer to the image below.

Tier 2

Objective: Examine the note

Yup, another note in Japanese! Examine the note on the bench.

loveandorigami_5

Objective: Go to the location mentioned in the note

This one is probably the easiest to figure out if you just translate the right words, however, there are some hints and a solution below.

You might have to do something similar to what you did with the previous note. You have the book of Origami in your inventory.
This time, if you done it correctly, the translated message will be:
I will wait for you beneath the Cherry Bossom Tree in Ginpachi Park.

Tier 3

Objective: Examine the note

This note is a bit hard to see on the ground in the middle of all the grass.

Objective: Go to the location mentioned in the note

Here we go again. This one is in my opinion quite hard to figure out, so if you need hints or the solutions, check below.

You probably know the drill by now. Get folding!
This time, if done correctly, the message translated to the following:
I will go to the Pachinko Parlour. Meet me there.

Tier 4

Objective: Examine the note

This note is a little different, it’s actually an origami figure. Use the controls in the upper right corner to investigate the various sides of the origami figure.

Objective: Go to the location mentioned in the note

As always, check below if you want some hints or the solution.

This one is already an Origami figure. Maybe you could try to reverse it?
When reversed, you will get a phrase that translates to the following:
Innocence broken, fading like the morning light, bathe away my pain.
Bathe away the pain? Perhaps the Bathhouse is worth checking out. Image below.

Tier 5

Objective: Examine the origami and find the message

This is no puzzle, you just need to examine the right origami figure, which is the one on the bench close to the lockers.

After a few seconds of viewing the note below, the mission will complete itself. Make sure to browse the other pages of the window before closing it. The message is there and it translates to the following text:

Your fear is weakness, it will keep you from greatness, I’m leaving my love.
