Tier 1

Objective: Pick up the flamethrower

The flamethrower is on the table, simply pick it up to advance.

Objective: Go to Edgar’s scrapyard

Head to the area marked on your map, your misison should update once you enter the scrapyard area.

Tier 2

Objective: Search the garbage bins for a hose

Look for a garbage bin like the one shown in the picture below and search it.

Tier 3

Objective: Test the flamethrower

Now for the fun part, you get to toy around with the flamethrower. Open your inventory (I) and equip the flamethrower (Barn Burner) as you would any other weapon. Once equiped, activate the green flame icon (Burn Down the Barn) to test the flamethrower. You may use the ability up to three times, though one is sufficient, it is always fun to take a break from slaughtering zombies and draug from time to time and just be a pyromaniac.

Objective: Show the flamethrower to Edgar

Once you have had your fun, head over to Edgar at (610,675) and show him the flamethrower.

Congratulations, mission complete!

The Barn Burner can be used as a weapon upon completion of the mission, it uses Burn Down the Barn ammunition which can be found in the fuel cans located all over Kingsmouth. Be advised that this is not the same weapon as the auxiliary weapon named “Flamethrower” and therefore does not require the flamethrower skill to be bought in order to be used, and is not able to use any of the Flamethrower abilities from the auxiliary wheel.
