Valentine’s Day

General Information

The Valentine’s Day Event is a small, generally two to three week long event that introduces special seasonal items to the Item Store to gift or give to friends and loved ones.

Just as Valentine’s Day is a heavily commercialized holiday, so too is its event.

Additional content was available during the 2013 Valentine’s Day Event, but due to unspecified reasons, it has not been re-enabled for any other instances of the event.

Merchant of Eros

The loving Merchant of Eros can be found in London (155,150), New York (440,340), and Seoul (385,245) ready to peddle prizes to perusing players. A majority of the Merchant’s wears, including exclusive recolors, cost Lucky Coins, which can be acquired by opening Event Bags purchased from the Item Store; however, the Merchant of Eros also sells Satchels of Amorous Delights at a maximum of two per day through your choice of either Black Bullion or Pax Romana.

Limited-Time Purchases

Certain items are only available through the Item Store during the Valentine’s Day Event. Due to the loving nature of Valentine’s Day, various items can be traded to other players or Gifted, and some are exclusively Gift items.

Sold alongside the cosmetic clothing and pets during the Valentine’s Event is an Event Bag, which comes in single or group sizing for 240 and 1200 Funcom Points respectively. See the Event Bag category for further information on the bag and its contents.

Heart pendant, silver

The Heart pendant, silver is unique in the way of Valentine’s Event items. Each account can claim up to five of these pendants per year. Once claimed, a pendant can be traded or sold to other players. This item predates the Gifting function.

Corsage, lily

The Corsage, lily is a neck item for males and hand item for females that costs 360 Funcom Points. Wear a lily and tell yourself, “Always”.

The Corsage, rose is a neck item for males and hand item for females that costs 360 Funcom Points.

Engagement ring

Show your devotion with the Engagement ring. This hand item takes 360 Funcom Points to place a small silver band on the left ring finger. Perfect for roleplaying character couples!

Heart Pajamas, white

New for 2017, the Heart Pajamas, white item gives two clothing outfits: Heart Pajamas, white, and Hooded Heart Pajamas, white. This ensemble set costs 300 Funcom Points.

Heart pendant, gold

The Heart pendant, gold is a small golden heart locket necklace for 360 Funcom Points.

Wedding ring

Eternal love can be yours to wear with this Wedding ring for only 360 Funcom Points. This ring is a small gold band on the left ring finger.

Brown Valentine Bear

The Brown Valentine Bear costs 480 Funcom Points and can be traded once claimed.

Pink Valentine Bear

The Pink Valentine Bear costs 480 Funcom Points and can be traded once claimed.

White Valentine Bear

The White Valentine Bear costs 480 Funcom Points and can be traded once claimed.

Valentine’s Scooter

A hot pink love machine, the Valentine’s Scooter is an epic classic sprint which can be purchased or Gifted for 1200 Funcom Points.

Dancing Shoes

The Dancing shoes, black were a pair of shoes that could be purchased for 480 Funcom Points. Wearing the shoes gives the Troupe Member effect. Any dance emote made by the group leader is mimicked by all other group members with the Troupe effect.

The Dancing shoes, black also gave the emote /dance_billiej when purchased, and this emote was otherwise free to use regardless of whether or not one wore the shoes.

Dancing Shoes were only available for exactly one day during the 2015 Valentine’s Day Event. Due to an issue, they were swiftly removed from the Item Store. Eventually, they were replaced by a separate purchasable dance and the inventory item, Shoes of Synchronicity. Neither are Event only and are instead persistent in the Item Store.

The Dancing Shoes are no longer obtainable. They are visually unique, and their model is not shared with the Shoes of Synchronicity.

Gifts

Certain Valentine’s Day items are only available through the Gift function of the Item Store. As a result, you can only ever receive or give these items to other players and never to yourself.

The Heart Pajamas, black item gives two items: Heart Pajamas, black and Heart Pajamas, black. This item is only available through Gifting and costs 300 Funcom Points.

Love Bird

The precious Love Bird is a pet parrot which can only be received as a Gift through the Item Store. It costs 300 Funcom Points and trails petals as it flies.

Rose Rain

The Rose Rain item comes in stacks of 5 and give the user the Rose Rain visual effect. This short duration buff causes petals to fall around the player. Rose Rain costs 60 Funcom Points and can only be Gifted or received through Gifting.

Event Bags

An Event Bag is an item which rewards unique cosmetic rewards which then can be sold or traded to other players. These bags are only sold during seasonal events and can be acquired through the Item Store or other methods. A bag can give up to two items per use.

Satchel of Amorous Delights

The Satchel of Amorous Delights is an Event Bag that will randomly reward two items from its loot table upon opening. It can be purchased either from the Item Store or from the Merchant of Eros in any Faction Hub. If a Satchel of Amorous Delights was purchased from the Item Store, it will reward 1 Lucky Coin when opened.

Bag of Saint Valentinus

The Bag of Saint Valentinus is the group version of the Satchel of Amorous Delights and can only be purchased from the Item Store. It rewards its items to a maximum of 20 nearby players in addition to the person opening the bag. It shares the same loot table as the Satchel of Amorous Delights, but will also give 3 Lucky Coins to its user when opened.

Achievements

Due to the small scale of this event, there is only one achievement associated with it.
