Scavengers

Tier 1

Objective: Go to the abandoned factory near the quarry

Go to the junkyard at (665,345).

Objective: Search the junkyard for scrap metal

You will find an outcropping of metal bits at (635,330).

Tier 2

Objective: Use the drum to signal a sasquatch scavenger

Use the drum in your inventory to summon the sasquatch scavengers.

Objective: Protect the scavenger until he’s done salvaging

You will be attacked by three waves of zombies and then an elite concrete golem. These mobs are identical to the ones you will find in the area.

Tier 3

Objective: Go further into the factory area

Head to (565,320) while being careful of the elite scrap golems in the area.

Objective: Use the drum to signal the scavenger

Use the drum in your inventory again. This time the scavenger will be scared off by the scrap golems in the area. Looks like you’ll have to do the salvage job yourself.

Objective: Gather some scrap metal

Defeating a scrap golem will drop a piece of scrap metal. You can also find it scattered all around the area. Gather 10 pieces of scrap.

Tip: You can find 8 pieces of scrap in the building at (575,355). Unless somebody else has been through the area recently, you will have to fight a boss level Pestilent Revenant for control of the building.

Objective: Exit the area and find the scared scavenger

You’ll find the scavenger hiding behind a stand of trees at (510,330).

Objective: Give the scrap metal to the scavenger

Right click on the scavenger to give him the scrap. He will bow to you and leave.

Tier 4

Objective: Find more scrap metal nearby

Just north of the stand of trees you will find another pile scrap at (510,400).

Objective: Use the drum to signal the scavenger

Once again, use the drum in your inventory.

Objective: Protect the scavenger until he’s finished salvaging

Just like in Tier 1 you will be attacked by three waves of zombies and another elite concrete golem. Defeat them as you did before.

Tier 5

Objective: Find a way into the last area

After your battle with the locals, look to the South East. You will see an intact belt elevator leading over the nearby buildings. That’s your ticket into the last area.

Once on top of the conveyer, you will look down into an enclosed area with some filth tentacles and an infected sasquatch.

Objective: Use the drum to signal the scavenger

Use the drum one final time.

Objective: Kill the infected sasquatch that answered the call

The infected sasquatch isn’t terribly difficult. Just avoid his AoE stun and you will be fine. Once you’ve defeated him your mission will be completed.
