Auxiliary Weapons
Auxiliary Weapons
Auxiliary weapons were introduced to the game as an additional layer of character progression and as such have their own skill wheel. They provide players with another tool adding diversity, versatility and an additional way to show off your characters weapon expertise. They also provide very useful situational boosts.
Auxiliary weapons occupy your 8th active and passive ability slots, each Auxiliary weapon requires 35 SP to unlock and every ability requires to be unlocked in order for 50 AP each.
In total there will be 9 Auxiliary weapons, with 3 for each respective weapon category.
Upgrades
There are 2 ways to improve Auxiliary Weapons.
Auxiliary weapon upgrade kit
In order to upgrade the rarity of your Auxiliary Weapon, you need an upgrade kit.
Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkits (Rare) can be found in elite dungeons (Bind on Pick up) or through luck upon opening Bag of Ethereal Gambit (Bind on equip), which you can buy from Council Envoys in many of the Council of Venice outposts for sequins.
This upgrade kit can turn your Auxiliary weapon from green quality to rare quality (blue) by placing both in your crafting window.
Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkits (Epic) can be found in Nightmare dungeons and can upgrade your auxiliary weapon from Uncommon to Rare, and from Rare to Epic depending on the auxiliary weapon’s current rarity. Just put both of them in the crafting window.
You read that right, using an Epic Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkit on an Uncommon Auxiliary Weapon you can upgrade it to a Rare Auxiliary Weapon. This is often a preferred method for people that regularly run nightmare dungeons as it’s much quicker to obtain 2 epic upgrade kits than it is to run both nightmare and elite dungeons for blue kits.
Auxiliary weapon upgrade kits from dungeons are unique, meaning you can only hold one at any given time and won’t see another drop until you use it, however, the toolkits from the Bags of Ethereal Gambit from the Council Envoys are not unique and can be stacked.
Supernal Auxiliary Upgrade
An auxiliary weapon that has been upgraded to QL 10.2 Epic can be further improved using a Supernal Auxiliary Upgrade toolkit. This toolkit can be bought from the Nightwatch Engineer at your faction HQ for 150 Marks of the Pantheon. This will upgrade it to QL 10.5.
Unlike the Epic Auxiliary Upgrade Toolkit, the Supernal kit cannot be used to upgrade lower-tier aux weapons, such as Uncommon and Rare aux weapons. The aux weapon must have been upgraded to QL 10.2 Epic first before it can be used.
Signets
Auxiliary Weapons can be improved by adding an Auxiliary weapon specific signet. Details about these signets can be found further in the next section of this guide. Auxiliary weapons do not carry glyph sockets, as such cannot be upgraded by adding glyphs.

Recommended Use of Abilities
Below you will find a concise list of useful abilities for each of the weapons. The shield, sword and cross icons represent the tank role, DPS role and healer role respectively.
Rocket Launcher
Pop Shot
This ability has a slow travel time allowing you to align damage caused improving burst, it also deals a decent amount of AoE damage. The slow travel time allows you to switch your weapon and the damage dealt by pop shot will gain any benefit granted by the equipped weapon (Signet, glyph points, Combat Power, AEGIS type damage).
The recommended passive depends on your use for this ability, Rocket Science if you want to use this ability more often or Warhead if you intend to use it for burst damage.
Death From above
Chainsaw
Timber
Diamond Grit
Quantum Brace
Collider – Collapse
Whip
Crack!
Whippersnapper
Flamethrower
Dragon’s Breath
When combined with an Augur signet Dragon’s Breath will be able to deal damage up to 10 targets at the same time and as such is highly effective on multiple targets. the recommended passive would be Assiduous Burn which will increase the damage dealt but also lowers the cooldown of dragon’s breath.
It can also be used to provide you with a hard hitting AoE effect useful for dealing with 5 targets by using a binding signet and using the passive Searing Magnesium.
Scorched Earth
Is one of the hardest hitting abilities in the game when combining it with an imprint signet and passive Assideous Burn, but often tough to aim as the area is rather small.
This ability benefits from the glyphs and combat power of your primary weapon.
