DESCRIPTION
A basic beginner build that primarily uses Elementalism.
This is a simple build that can be used as a guideline to understanding the basic structure of a survival build.
HOW IT WORKS
Shock & Volatile Current
Shock will be generating 1 resource for both of your consumers every time you use it, this enables the use of your Elemental and Pistol consumers. Volatile Current will apply an affliction, this enables the use of Dark potency increasing your penetration rating. Penetration rating reduces blocked hits, and increases your chance to score a penetrating hit which deal 50% more damage than a normal hit.
Anima Charge & High Voltage
This allows you to cast your Elemental consumer without the resource requirements. High Voltage will cause this consumer to critically hit for 25% more damage, increased by 15% through brawler and even more if you have crit power (Not a recommended stat to aim for this early in the game).
Rapid Getaway
This ability increases your movement speed and grants a buff that improves your critical hit chance by 10%, it’s recommended to use a consumer early so the rest of your attacks can benefit from this passive. You can start combat with Anima Charge and Electrical storm, if Anima Charge is recharging you can instead use Wanted after 1 Shock.
Electrical Storm & Wanted
These are your consumers, every time you use a builder you generate the stated amount of resources. None healing based builders generate at least 1 resource for each weapon. In order to activate Electrical storm you require 3 resources, Wanted however can be casted with 1 resource but will increase in damage accordingly with the amount of resources accumulated before using the ability (Up to 5).
Above the Law & Dirty Tricks
Dirty tricks roots the enemy target(s) for 4 seconds rendering them unable to reach you, ranged enemies will be able to attack unless you move behind them during the effect. Above the Law does not follow the rules, you can cast it whenever you like because it doesn’t trigger a global recharge time. Try placing it under a group of mob before using dirty tricks to root them for additional damage. It will also generate a resource for both your weapons.
Deadly Aim
Increases your chance for critical hits by a large amount for 10 seconds, useful when you end up dealing with a few more enemies than you can handle otherwise…
