A Time to Every Purpose

Tier 1

Objective: Read the manual about the Time Tombs

It is on the chair on the opposite side of the table from Saïd.

Objective: Use the Time Tomb southwest of the oasis

Go to the location marked on the map and enter the Time Tomb as shown below:

Tier 2

Objective: Find the Roman City

Head to the northwestern part of the oasis, although before you proceed you should:

• Pick up the side mission called O Tempora! O Mores! at (300,580).
• Pick up the lore in the eastern part of the oasis at (430,630).

Objective: Find a way to enter undetected

Enter the cave pointed out in the picture above. Inside you will find a dead body. Steal its Roman outfit and wear it to blend in. Civilians will not be alarmed by you anymore, but guards will still be suspicious of you so avoid them entirely.

Objective: Infiltrate Sol Glorificus

Enter the city, preferably through the left entrance as there are no guards there. If you’re doing the side mission O Tempora! O Mores! remember to pick up weapons and supplies along the way inside.

Objective: Find the descendant who keeps the Ancile

Get to the large area inside the town. The route is displayed on the minimap in the picture below. Click on the man that is holding a strange object in his hand.

Objective: Steal the Ancile

Once you click on the Scion of Pompilius, he will immediately start walking up the stairs and into a building. Follow him and steal an Ancile from within the building.

The doors will close as you pull the Ancile away from the pillar.

Objective: Put back the Ancile

Click on the same pillar again.

Objective: Find a document about making replicas of the Ancile

Go to the location marked on the map as displayed below with a highlighted route on the minimap:

Click on the large scroll that covers the table to advance the mission.

Objective: Make a replica of the Ancile

Fetch the staff that lies on the right side of the table in front of you, then head to the location as shown on the minimap in the picture below:

Pick up that staff as well and head to the next secret location as displayed below:

Pick up the Metallic urn, then disassemble all the three items you have gathered.

After that, assemble them like this:

Objective: Take the Ancile and put a replica in its place

Go to one of the buildings containing Anciles. We went to the nearest one:

Objective: Find a safe area outside the city to hide the Ancile

Exit the city the same way you entered it if you’re interested in avoiding guards. Hide the Ancile inside the unfinished statue.

Objective: Travel back to the present Scorched Desert

Go back to the Time Tomb and travel back to the present time.

Tier 3

Objective: Recover the Ancile

The then unfished statue should now be finished. Retrive the Ancile that hides inside of it. This will cause a cutscene to trigger.

Objective: Fight off the assailants

You will need to survive 3 waves of incoming cultists before the mission updates to:

Objective: Bring the Ancile to Saïd

You probably know where to find him by now, hehe. Go to the location marked on the map.

This mission automatically becomes The City Beneath Us upon completion!
