Tier 1

Objective: Warn the archaeologists

Head for the location marked on the map. It’s inside a passageway through the mountains. Once there, your mission objective will update.

Objective: Help the golem deal with the cultists

Kill the cultists that are assaulting the golem to proceed

Objective: Check the dig site

Continue forward to the highlighted location and a cutscene will initialise.

Tier 2

Objective: Retrieve the first artifact

The location is marked on the map; go there. A few ghouls will be standing around it, so take them out first.

Tier 3

Objective: Retrieve the second artifact

Go to the next highlighted location. This artifact is laying on the ground next to a dead cultist near an entrance.

Tier 4

Objective: Retrieve the third artifact

The third and last artifact is slightly harder to obtain as it is mounted to a huge living golem. Head for the highlighted location and you should see a big sand golem. If you are not overgeared, you should not approach it directly just yet.

The golem has three powerful buffs that it would be adventageous to remove. In order to remove them, you have to hit the golem with beams from the statues. You can warp up there by entering a blue portal underneath a statue.

Here are the instructions for how to do it:

Once all the buffs are down or when you are ready to face it regardless, jump down and attack it. Avoid any AoE ground attacks. Impairs are also useful here.

Once the golem is down, it will drop the artifact that you require. Pick it up and carry on to continue the mission.

Tier 5

Objective: Find an open area and plant a smoke flare

Run to the highlighted area and interact with the spot on the ground to plant the flare. Prepare for an ambush.

Objective: Defend yourself until the helicopter arrives

Several waves of cultists are attracted by the flare.

Objective: Hand over the artifacts

An Orochi helicopter? No way… Okay, just do it to finish the mission :P
