When The Hatchet Falls

Tier 1

Objective: Search the Dimir farm for information about the missing children

If you’re familiar with the locations in the Shadowy Forest, you’ll know exactly where to go. If not, follow the marker on the map to (1070,1056).

Tier 2

Objective: Search the ghoul camps for information about the missing children

Simply go to the location pinpointed by the marker on the map and click on the Orochi Corpse at (684,1040)

Objective: Take the Tracking Device

There is a tracking device next to the corpse. Pick it up and it will automatically start scanning.

Tier 3

Objective: Search for the missing children

Go to the cliffside just north of the Hatchet Falls ressurection point (525,890)

Objective: Examine the Microchips

They are indicated by large brackets. Simply click on the ground.

Objective: Follow the Blood Trail

You are to find the entrance of the Hatchet Falls facility. It is right under the fall (hence the name) at (565,850)

Tier 4

Objective: Enter the Hatchet Falls facility

Go close to the entrance and click on the door. It will deny you access, which leads to:

Objective: Unlock the door to the facility

You will need an eyeball and a hand for the scanners. Search the bodies lieing on the left and right sides.

After you’ve obtain them lovely organs, click on the retinal scanner and the hand scanner and the door will open.

Tier 5

Objective: Explore the Facility

A cutscene will trigger as soon as you make your way into the first room.

Objective: Bypass the first security door

Notice that there is a whole in the wall. Go through it into the next room. In that room, you will find a key and a generator. Pick up the key and destroy the generator, then go downstairs to turn on electricity.

Follow these instructions to turn on the electricity:

1. Use the level
2. Spin the valve control wheel
3. Use the primer to increase the rate of the rising pressure
4. Hit the ignition as soon as the pressure reaches 75 % (Biggest green dot)

That’s all! Now you will be able to enter the door upstairs.

Tier 6

Objective: Explore the facility

Go through the door upstairs. Once inside the room, don’t go left as there is a security camera there. There should be a door a few metres in front of you to the left. The code for that door is 1878.

Go inside and pick up the Soviet EMP Pulser, then head outside again and jump over the laser fence using the stacked boxes to the right. Go around the corner and use the EMP Pulser to turn off the laser field.

Once the laser field is off, continue heading forward and you’ll see a door on the left side. It is blocked by a shield. You need to use the EMP Pulse on the box next to the door to disable that shield.

Once that’s done, head inside, pick up the red key and destroy the Orochi Generator

Leave the room and continue moving through the hallway. By the corner you should see a hole in the wall. There will be a lore inside.

Once you’re out again, continue down the hallway until you get to yet another security door.

Objective: Bypass the second Security Door

Go through the entrance and you’ll notice a door on the left, a door on the right and a big hall in front of you. The left room will have two keys inside of it that you need to go on. If you go into the right room and down the stairs, you’ll find a lore piece.

Tier 7

Objective: Access the secured files

Now, this is a puzzle and you will need to be quick. Enter the left room with the blue key and use the red key on the panel inside. Now, go out to the large door. The first layer has opened, go inside and use the Soviet EMP Pulse on the box to the left.

Then hurry back to the little room and take out the red key, go outside the room and take out the blue key.

Next, go over to the other little room and use your red key on the door, then quickly head inside and use the blue key on the panel.

The large doors are now completely open. Go to the room behind them. You’ll see a computer. Use it and disable the security protocols.

When the computer asks you for a password, simply type password (Yes, that is actually the password, haha)

A cutscene will trigger and your new objective will be as follows:

Objective: Read the Secured Files

Use the computer again to actually read the files you decrypted.

Objective: Locate an Orochi agent with level 6 clearance

Okay, it’s time to exit this place. You’re now heading to the Carpathian Fangs. You will find Dragan, the Orochi Agent, at (630,1080)

Upon completion, the mission You Only Die Twice will be launched automatically.
