Objective: Search nearby vehicles for an extinguisher

Objective: Search the CDC camp for protective equipment

You can find the extinguisher in the back of the pick-up truck nest to the tunnel. Interact with the extinguisher to pick it up.

The protective gear can be found in this crate. Interact with it to reveal it’s content.

Objective: Equip the hazmat suit and enter the tunnel

The hazmat suit is in your inventory. Right-click it to use it. Also, it’s advised to put your extinguisher in a easy to reach place like I have here.

Next you need to actually equip it. Go into the character sheet (C) and select ‘Dressing room’ option. Then choose ‘Uniform’ and double click on ‘Hazmat suit’. Now we’re ready. Head back to the tunnel entrance.

Objective: Extinguish the first flame

Objective: Extinguish the second flame

Objective: Extinguish the third flame

You have to stand at the exact right spot to be able to extinguish the flames. They can’t burn you so don’t be afraid to move all the way up to them. For reference look at the pictures below. To actually extinguish them, right-click on the extinguisher in your inventory.

And the third is here. Mission complete!

If you pass between the driver cabin and the wall like this, you now have a short cut back to Kingsmouth. No need to go through Agartha or Savage Coast any more. Also, you get to keep the hazmat suit. It will come in handy later in the game.
