Suggested Auxiliary Abilities
Ability Ability Increases damage output. Combined with a Binding signet on the Whip it's even more powerful.
Ability Ability Dashing helps you get to your destination quicker, get away from dangerous explosions or get through mobs blocking your path.

This build uses a fairly standard Blade/Leeching frenzy scenario setup with assault rifle as secondary option. Recommended use solo scenarios/group scenarios with friends.

Clearing the path & Sudden return will provide you with the majority of your AoE damage while still providing you with excellent single target damage in combination with Three round burst. Rapid Getaway will provide you with 10% crit chance and movement speed.


Leeching Frenzy can be purged so make sure to reactivate it after ghouls decide to strip you from your buffs before using your consumers.

Martial Discipline gives you a 50% chance to glance incoming hits, abilities that are glanced take no effect, so impairs have a 50% chance to fail, in addition every glance will incur a small healing affect that can critically heal and activate Thirst/Equilibrium/Coney island band.

Immortal Spirit provides you with a reliable way to activate Thirst/Equilibrium/Coney island band should you have these, if you don’t have a thirst and equilibrium signet use one of the following passives instead: Sudden return, Inevitability, Perjury.

Optional Abilities

Suppressing Fire
Can be useful for shooting enemies from a safezone during a storm.

Transfuse Anima
Some otters like Transfuse Anima, always use abilities that work for your particular play-style/feeling. In order to know what you like more, make sure to actually give other abilities (Three round burst) a chance first!

Gross Anatomy
This passive deals a lot of damage, it’s best used after the gathering survivors phase.

Stunning Swirl allows you to impair 6 targets around you, dealing damage and stunning them for 3 seconds giving you some time to recuperate health through leeching frenzy.

It has a much shorter cooldown then Reap and Sew, give it a try!
