Description

A beginner build created by Sturmhaven.

This build puts the player in a good position to take advantage of passive and active synergies moving forward.

How it works

Abilities to change once you obtain them.

Balanced Blade (Replace with Chop Shop)
Call for Eris (Replace with Consequence)
Domino Effect (don’t use in dungeons)
Illusion (Replace with Amor Fati or Turn the Tables)

The double expose applying passives are used to cut enemies down faster. Use Elemental Force with an aoe consumer when fighting mobs and Call for Eris when down to a single enemy.

When down to about 50% health, use martial discipline. The next time your health gets low, make use of Illusion or Turn the Tables.
Additional notes Around QL 6 or so, start looking at getting your glyphs aligned with the build. Aim for getting crit power (“ferocious”) on your glyphs, whether as drops or built using glyph kits.

Some end-game tactics used for this build that you can flesh out later:
– using elemental force to force crit attacks (and replacing crit change glyphs)
– using turn the tables as a quick heal
– using double-weaken on mobs
– adding a hit-based passive to help reduce glancing

You can also start moving into an end-game solo build that relies on Penetration ratings for defense and offense (add Immortal Spirit, Leeching Frenzy, Blade Torrent passives, Clearing the Path active).
