Ability Ability The Flamethrower ability Dragon's Breath is decent when you want to attack enemies from further away when you start combat. It also deals a lot of damage.
Ability Ability Crack! + Whiplash is also a fairly good auxiliary abilities combo for soloing. It will lower the defenses of mobs, allowing you to kill them faster.

The required stats depend on in which zone you are currently at. Later zones will require the higher stats than earlier zones. You can continue to increase your Attack Rating and Penetration Rating beyond the numbers displayed above as you progress. Once you reach 800-900 penetration rating, you can start adding some Critical Rating.

Description

This is an excellent build for doing missions alone or with friends. The various abilities boost each other for maximum survivability and the build makes use of several impairs as well. Also, this build specialises in taking out multiple enemies at once, but can also be used for taking out single enemies.

If your penetration rating significantly lower than 800, you should replace Sudden Return with Dark Potency.

How it works

Blade Torrent is a frenzy ability which activates the Leeching Frenzy passive, allowing you to convert part of the damage you deal into healing.

Gross Anatomy + Bloodsport

These two passive abilities is what makes this build so great. Bloodsport will place an affliction on your enemies whenever you attack successfully hits them. Gross Anatomy will make you hit your enemies an extra time for a nice amount of damage every time your afflictions on your targets are renewed or expired.

Leeching Frenzy

This passive ability will activate a leech buff whenever you use a Frenzy ability, which in this build is the Blade Torrent ability. Thus, if you fight a single enemy, such as a boss, you still want to use Blade Torrent at least once every now and then before continuing with Run Rampant, to ensure that you will leech off the target’s health. That is very important, as Leeching Frenzy is your main source of healing!

Helter Skelter and Domino Effect

Those three active abilities are impairing abilities. They are great to have to buy yourself some time if you’re running low on health. They’re also useful against mobs that have a lot of ground AoE attacks, as you can interrupt them with these abilities, even though you should eventually learn to simply stay on the move and run out of ground attacks.
