DESCRIPTION
What’s this? A build using Lightning, subtype chain and armor penetrating electrically powered electromagnetic projectiles! Doesn’t that sound stunning!
SITUATIONAL ABILITIES
White Out
The build in its current incarnation avoids the usage of non electrical abilities and only has lightning supported bullets as support to stick to the theme. Whiteout however is much more efficient and can keep enemies rooted for a very long time allowing you to abuse the power of conditional Force even more.
Cold Wave
Did your character pickup frost powers? If so Cold Wave is easier to use than Shake and Bake but essentially does the same thing.
Gun Fu
Not a fan of Deadly Aim? Double tap those zombies with Gun Fu after casting Wanted to reset the cooldown and give you 5 resources on all targets within 10 yard.
Dark Potency
Once you reach Quality Level 10 glyph stats you may wish to replace this passive for something that deals more damage, a recommended passive to take would be sudden return. You may wonder why Sudden return and not Arterial pulse or Criticality the reason is that this build is very AoE heavy, Sudden return is more effective against single targets than the previous mentioned passives and in combination with lightning manifestation and doom has a great proc rate.
Running Circles
This is very much a flavour passive, you may freely replace this ability for something else highly recommended to do so if you’re having trouble staying on the move while fighting.
Suggestions: More healing – Lick your wounds, More Damage – Arterial pulse or Sudden Return.
HOW IT WORKS
This is a long range build that requires you to stay on the move (If you don’t, replace running in circles), by staying on the move you keep distance between you and your enemy barraging them with lightning and lightning projected projectiles when they manage to get near you.
Should the enemy(melee enemy) get within melee range root them to the ground with Shake and bake or Dirty tricks, make sure to have 2 Elementalism resources when you do in order to be able to cast Conditional Force without spending resources for the next 3 seconds (roots last 4 seconds, you will lose one second on global recharge time) after rooting the enemy.
Ranged enemies should be dealt with differently, approach them while attacking and when you reach the enemy(Ranged) root them and run behind them (Shake and bake will do this for you). This will render them unable to cast abilities at you.
This build is very AoE heavy, if you’re having trouble with single enemy mobs make sure to temporarily switch some abilities for single target damage.
