  • Title: The Unconquerable Spirit

Kill 10,000 Spirits

Spirits are a relatively simple 10,000 kill achievement. Any small magical fiery spirit orb counts as a spirit, except for those around Anastasia’s Wagon, which do not count for anything at all. The spirits attached to the Fata Padurii are Padurii and as such will not count toward this achievement.

Wisps, despite being the poster spirit, do not at this time count for any achievement.

There is a single, swift method that can complete this achievement from 0 to 10,000 kills in a matter of hours. It is fastest in a group, but can be accomplished at a somewhat slower pace alone.

Methods

In the Scorched Desert, all Flame Spirits that traverse the molten cracks spawn from a single place: the Eastern Scar. It is here where they will spawn in groups almost immediately after their deaths. At the middle of the Eastern Scar (505,910), the majority will float to you, allowing no necessary movement on the part of the player as a result.

SpiritsFarm

Due to their low life and the swift speed at which they can be killed, they will effectively be respawning at a nearly instantaneous rate, limited only by the speed at which they can be killed.

This method may start slow in the beginning, as spirits will already be wandering about the Scar. It will inevitably pick up pace as they are picked off. With two or more people, it can reach upwards of 4,000 spirits per hour. Consequently, this farm can easily be completed in a single day.

A group should fan its members out to the length of the fissure to farm most efficiently.

As with any farm, it is highly recommended that one be considerate of other players in the area at all times.
