Tier 1

Objective: Go to the graveyard

Go to the location marked on the map.

Objective: Kill ghouls

Objective: Burn the unearthed coffins

Each coffin is guarded by two ghouls. Kill them and burn the coffins.

Objective: Look for anything unusual in the unearthed graves

At (841, 1280) you will find something “unusual” in the grave. It’s the first data tape.

Note: This area is a favorite farm spot for signet hunters so there is a chance you will have to wait on ghouls to respawn.

Tier 2

Objective: Enter ghoul territory

Go to the location marked on the map. You will encounter a lot of Ghouls on the way.

Objective: Search the graveyard for tape 2

Tape 2 is located at (687, 1329).

Objective: Search the graveyard for tape 3

Tape 3 is located at (697, 1284).

Objective: Search the graveyard for tape 4

Tape 4 is located at (665, 1298).

Tier 3

Objective: Find a way to read the tapes

With all four data tapes in hand, enter the bunker at (659, 1322). You will find a Tape Reader inside to the left of where you enter the bunker. Interact with it.

Objective: Find a replacement tape drive

The replacement tape drive is at (675, 1282).

Objective: Search for replacement wiring

The replacement wiring is found in a Ham Radio at (707, 1322).

Tier 4

Objective: Repair the machine

Enter the bunker again and use the tape reader. you will be ambushed by Scrapheap Ruler before you can finish.

Objective: Kill Scrapheap Ruler

Objective: Feed the tapes through the reader

Use the tape reader one last time to complete your mission.

Consider picking up the side mission Red Hands Aren’t Idle Hands located next to the tape reader at (642, 1321). It takes place within this area anyway.
