Tier 1

Objective: Investigate the farm

Head over to the farm south of the Vampire Hunter at (560, 1040).

Objective: Find something to burn the rotting corpses with

Just inside the gates to the farm at (565, 1010) you will find some Gas cans. Pick one up.

Objective: Burn 4 of the rotting corpses

Right click on any of the numerous Rotting corpses in the area. Do this four times.

Objective: Investigate the atrocious smell

Go to the green clouds at (550, 940).

Objective: Kill the Plague Herald

The Plague Herald is your standard Revenant type enemy. Defeat him.

Tier 2

Objective: Investigate the east field

Once the Plague Herald is defeated, head east to the fields at (620, 940).

Objective: Burn down a haystack

Right click one of the haystacks in the area. Each haystack has a scarecrow attached to it, so if they haven’t already been killed, they will attack when you burn the haystack.

Objective: Make all the haystacks burn at once

Continue until all five haystacks are burning.

Objective: Kill the Herald of Ashes

Once you light the fifth haystack, the Herald of Ashes will spawn in the center of the fiery pentagram. He’s also a standard Revenant type.

Tier 3

Objective: Investigate the nearby barn

After you’ve defeated the Herald of Ashes, find the barn to the south west at (620, 860).

Objective: Ignite the Inanimate Scarecrow

Use the wooden crosses in the barn to animate the scarecrows. Kill four scarecrows in this manner.

Objective: Destroy the Headless Terror

After the fourth scarecrow is defeated, use the Huge wooden cross to animate the Headless Terror. He is a standard chainsaw wielding scarecrow.

Tier 4

Objective: Investigate the burned farmhouse

Once the Headless Terror is dead, head outside the barn and hang a left. You will find the burned farmhouse at (590, 820).

In the ruins you will find a Mutilated corpse. Use the corpse to summon the Herald of Sorrow.

Objective: Defeat the Herald of Sorrow

The Herald of Sorrow is a standard Revenant except that he will summon copies of himself. He will quickly run away leaving you to defeat any copies that were spawned.

Objective: Pick up the Herald of Sorrow’s feather

Once all the copies are defeated, pick up the feather from the ground.

Objective: Search for the Herald of Sorrow

The Herald of Sorrow can now be found in the farmhouse to the west of the burned down ruins.

Objective: Complete the binding ritual

Fight your way inside and upstairs. Once there, place the feather in the spot indicated to summon the Herald of Sorrow again.

Objective: Kill the Herald of Sorrow

The Herald of Sorrow is now a little more than a standard Revenant but is still not too tough. Once he is defeated your mission is complete.
