Maine Chainsaw Massacre

Tier 1

Objective: Pick up the chainsaw

Interact with the chainsaw to pick it up.

Objective: Equip the chainsaw

Before we proceed we need to cover a couple of things. First, should you ever die during this mission, which is actually a pretty good chance you will, you will have to run back to the truck here and interact with the gas can in the back of the truck. This will put you back to the current objective.

Second, you just got two inventory items. One is the actual attack of the chainsaw. For easy access, you should pin a new, small window to the screen and put the item called “Chainsaw swing” in there. You won’t be using your ability bar for attacking, but rather right clicking this item. Only kills done by this attack will count in the following tier. You can’t spam this ability, it seems to follow the GCD of 1 second.

The other item is the chainsaw itself. Exchange it with one of your weapons in the character sheet. However, as soon as you do this the game is on! You will be swarmed by zombies and a 7 minute timer will start. Make sure you’re ready.

Tier 2

Objective: Kill zombies

Objective: Kill Vetr draugs

Objective: Kill She of the Cauldron

Start by surviving the onslaught. 8-10 zombies will rush you and you should swing that chainsaw as hard and as fast as you’ve ever swung one while shouting “That’s right! Who’s laughing now? Who’s laughing now!?”

Head down to the sea and any remainder zombies you’re missing still, and take out the draug. Note that the draug can call for zombies to come to their assistance.

With all zombies and draugs dead, go have a chat with mama draug. Should not take more than 3-5 swings.

PS: No, you do not get to keep the chainsaw. You do however get another one later.
