Note: This mission can only be completed while doing Elements of Control.

Tier 1

Objective: Defeat an Orochi Smiler Mech Mark 1.0

Defeat one of the Smiler Mechs wandering Manticore Plaza.

 

Objective: Extract version 1.0 firmware from the Smiler’s corpse

Use the drone, hacking into it. You will be brought to a screen similar to the G.H.O.S.T. interface; however, it is W.R.A.I.T.H..

Take the firmware option 2) — Firmware —.

The Firmware is noted in the form of a buff, R.E.M.O.T.E. Stored Firmware Upgrade.

Objective: Install version 1.0 firmware into the Mark 0.6 Mech

Return to the Orochi Prototype Smiler Mark 0.6 and install the firmware.

Objective: Follow the mech

Upgraded, the Smiler will head off toward Security 5; however, it does not make it far. It explodes! In its stead is a damaged drone (235,460).

Objective: Reactivate the damaged drone

Reactivate the small Welder Drone by right-clicking it. The small Welder will be the one to make the trip back to Security Five.
