Samurai Robots Can Happen to Anyone

Tier 1

Objective: Defeat Tsuwamono

Go to the location marked on the map. Be mindful that the area is guarded by hostile Orochi mechs and that it’s easy to get overwhelmed.

Tsuwamono has a lot of ground attacks up his sleeve. Below are the details concerning all of those attacks and how to best deal with them.

Slice and Dice
When Tsuwamono casts this attack, he will start spinning around in an attempt to slice you with his sharp razor blades. This attack is quite deadly and should be interrupted with an impair or avoided at all costs.

Ferocious Slash
This is a frontal cone attack that you really should impair or avoid at all costs. You will be stunned if this attack hits you and he will often cast another ground attack immediately afterwards while you are stunned and unable to move out of the area of affect. That is why you must avoid being hit by this one.

Rending Lunge
This attack is not that dangerous. It will deal a moderate amount of damage and place a damage over time afflict on you. You should not waste your impair abilities on interrupting this attack, instead simply run or dodge out of the area of effect.

Full Force
This is a wide linear ground attack that hits for a high amount of damage. You should try to run or dodge out of the area of effect instead of spending impairs on this one. Save your impairs for the more severe attacks.

Energy Barrage
This is a targeted ground attack. That means that he will continuously place circular AoE attacks at your feet. Run around to avoid being hit. You can also make him stop doing this by running behind him as the cast will be interrupted when you break line of sight.

With all this in mind, keep draining his health until you successfully defeat him. The cybernetic AEGIS shield will slowly regenerate while active and will be restored after a short while when exhausted. If you are leech healing yourself, it is imperative that you remove his AEGIS shielding as fast as possible as leeching is ineffective against shields.

The mission ends once Tsuwamono has been defeated.
