Tier 1

Objective: Examine the book of occult symbols

The book is right there where you start the mission. I’ve put a circle around the item in the image below in case you can’t find it.

Objective: Collect runes

Objective: Collect the glyph kit

Objective: Collect the chaos focus

These three items are located in each separate corner of the room. The runes can be found to the left of the cookbook.

Moving left to the next corner of the room you will find a box containing the glyph toolkit. Interact with the box to obtain it.

Moving left again, you’ll find the chaos focus on the wall. Pick it up.

Objective: Combine the runes to create a glyph

You’ll find four basic runes in your inventory. Press Y to open the assembly, then put the four runes in the assembly window in the formation displayed below and hit Assemble.

Objective: Inscribe the glyph onto the chaos focus

Put the fresh glyph in the assembly window along with the chaos focus. Also, put the glyph toolkit in the Tool section of the assembly window, then hit Assemble.
