A Carnival of Souls

Tier 1

Objective: Go to the Ferris wheel

It is located inside Atlantic Island Park, here. Head up the road and enter the park through the main entrance.

Objective: Ride the Ferris wheel

Click the Ferris wheel cart to “ride” it. No, it’s not a ride. At all. It is a solo instance.

Tier 2

Objective: Free the Laughter of Children

There is no map in here. You will have to rely on waypoints . As you enter, run forward to the bumper cars arena.

The laughter of children is trapped inside the blue glowing statue in the back. Before you can destroy (attack) it, you must get rid of the Spectral Enslavers guarding it. The blue will fade away and you will be able to target it.

Tier 3

Objective: Follow the Bogeyman

He ran off before I could screenshot him, but it’s no requirement to keep up with him. Follow the waypoint.

Objective: Destroy the Shadow Carnies

Zombies incoming! Kill them like this:

Objective: Free the Joy of Children

As with the laughter, destroy the statue.

Tier 4

Objective: Follow the Bogeyman

This time I did follow him, and got no waypoint. In any case follow the road straight forward, and take a right at the very end.

You will end up here:

Objective: Free the Terror of Children

Kill the Nightmare Spawn first, then free the terror of children by destroying the statue.

Objective: Destroy the Bogeyman

You will have to be light on your feet for this fight. When he does the green doughnut-AoE, stay inside the “hole” close to him.

When purple stuff start to rain, focus on staying alive by running out of the AoEs.

When the blue ripples start to emerge, run out of his line of sight. The centre rock makes this easy. Note that I am still running in this picture. I needed to move farther to the left to be safe. You can also run inside the ruin ontop of the rock and hide there.

After you have killed him, the mission updates to:

Objective: Collect the Odd Monocle

It is inside the mausoleum. It will appear in your inventory. Do not delete it! You will need it for another mission given by Nicolas!

Tier 5

Objective: Use the portal by the Ferris wheel to return

You do not have to double back. Look for the waypoint marker and run in that direction. Jump a fence and some rocks, and you will be back at the start. The mission will end as soon as you exit.
