The Strange Boat House in the Mist

Tier 1

Objective: Investigate the boathouse

Head for the boat house on the other side of the Miskatonic River. Note that when you cross the bridge you will be attacked by a big, chainsaw-wielding scarecrow called Biggman’s Model.

Enter the boat house, approach the corpse and right-click on it (it will not be high-lighted).

Objective: Search the corpse for clues

Searching the corpse will be much easier if you make it stop moving first.

Interact with the Innsmouth Academy ID the corpse drops.

Tier 2

Objective: Search for a missing boat

Jump in the water and head south down the river. Your goal is the pier with the burning boat on the other bank.

There are three Risen Academy Staff on the pier. Kill them. When they are dead, a fourth one will spawn.

Pick up the four IDs that they have dropped

Tier 3

Objective: Search for a second missing boat

Continue down the river.

Objective: Search the first mangled corpse

Objective: Search the second mangled corpse

Objective: Search the third mangled corpse

Objective: Search the dismembered body parts

You will find four human remains and a flipped over boat with crows on it. By now I hope you have learned that where there are crows there are…

…reveneats. Dispose of this reanimated corpse, formed from the restless fragments of those who, in life, did great evil.

Now, quickly proceed to pick up the IDs from the three corpses and the pile of body parts by interacting with them. The crows will be back soon enough.

Tier 4

Objective: Search for the final missing boat

Cross the river to find the last boat slammed into the breakwater.

Objective: Search the fourth mangled corpse

Objective: Search the fifth mangled corpse

Objective: Search the impaled corpse

The fourth and fifth corpses are next to the boat wreckage. Interact with them to find more IDs.

The last body is impaled on the buoy out in the estuary, east of the last boat. Interact with the body to find the last ID card.

As soon as you pick it up, be ready for a fight with a Svell Berserker. Aim and fire.

Tier 5

Objective: leave the IDs in the administration office in the academy

Head back to Innsmouth Academy.

Interact with the desk next to Annabel to return the IDs. Mission complete.
