The Fate of al-Merayah

Tier 1

Objective: Reach the southern barricade

Go to the location highlighted on the map to proceed.

Objective: Help the Marya defend the southern barricade

Simply take down a few incoming waves, it shouldn’t prove too hard.

Tier 2

Objective: Help the Marya defend the northern guard post

Head for the next highlighted location. There will be four waves of cultists that you need to defeat in order to advance.

Tier 3

Objective: Enter the tunnels

The entrance is marked on the map. Enter the al-Merayah tunnels.

Objective: Reach the end of the tunnels and seal the Main Gate

You won’t get very far before the mission updates due to cultists blocking your path to the other side of the tunnel.

Objective: Find an alternative way past the locked gate

On the left wall, from where you entered, there should be a weak point that you can damage using your weapons. Eventually, it will break down and you can pass through the hole to sneak around the locked gate.

Objective: Reach the next gate before the cultists close it

As soon as the hole in the wall is open, you’ll be on a timed objective. Get moving! You’ll encounter a few groups of cultists on the way. Deal with them quickly and carry on.

Eventually you will reach a big room with “platforms” that you will need to jump onto, except that the fastest way is to jump down to the ground, climb up the tall ladder, and go right. Keep climbing ladders and jumping to the next platform in that direction until you reach the exit. Then carry on.

You’ll keep encountering more enemies on your way. At some point you should get past the soon-closing gate. Defeat the enemies there and carry on.

Tier 4

Objective: Reach the end of the tunnels and seal the Main Gate

Eventually, you will reach a control panel with a green light. Interact with it to close the main gate. It will take a few moments for the gate to actually close.

Objective: Leave the tunnel system

Enter the room to the left from where you came and head up the stairs. There’s an exit there that will take you out of the sewers and complete the mission.
