Tier 1

Objective: Pick up some wooden spikes

Those big ones next to the Iele, those will do.


Objective: Destroy Fungal Incubators and collect their corpses

Objective: Destroy Fungal Seeders and collect their corpses

Today’s play field will be the the forest area between the graveyard to the west, the domain of the Padurii to the east, and the lair area to the south. Note that the collect corpse part will be completed whenever you kill one of the target creatures.


Fungal incubators. Kill 6 of these. Mind the pink stuff they spray all over the ground.


Fungal seeder. Kill 3 of these. Mind the AoE.


Tier 2

Objective: Locate the Fungal hive

Move farther south into the forest. Now would be a good time to equip some AoE builders and consumers.


Objective: Exterminate Fungal Chitterers and collect their corpses

Objective: Destroy Sporepods

One image, two objectives. Start attacking the spore pod. That will cause more of the chitterers to spawn. Use AoE. Repeat until 12 chitteres and 4 pods are down.


Tier 3

Objective: Search for the source of the corruption

Farther, always farther into the forest.


Objective: Engage Fungal Becomings and collect samples of the Spore Growth they throw around

Objective: Destroy Fungal Becomings and collect their corpses

Okay, easy thing first. That is a fungal becoming. Kill two to complete one of the objectives. Note the skull by the name. Now for the hard part.


One of the Becomings attack spawn spore growths. These things grow until they explode. You need to attack and destroy the spore growth before it gets too big, and then harvest (click) the thing they have inside. The one in this picture is already about too big and gave me nothing when destroyed.


The problem is that they are hard to spot until they become too big, and with the Becoming alive they can be hard to harvest. The solution is timed AoEs. First get the Becoming HP down to “almost dead”. Wait for him to plant Spore Growths. Now AoE that area down with all you got, killing pod while it’s small and taking the Becoming with you in the process. SUCCESS!


Tier 4

Objective: Impale fungal creatures

Time to use those spikes. Head into the heart of fungal territory.


Use the decorative spots to send a warning.
